The French stock market benchmark index CAC 40 experienced a strong decrease of 1.56 percent to close at 4,223.24 points on Wednesday, down 67.04 points.
With bad economic indicators published, both Wall Street and the CAC 40 were negatively affected. By closing, 37 of the 40 selected companies experienced decrease.
