European stocks rebound at open; London up 0.72%

Europe's main stock markets rebounded at the start of trading on Tuesday, with London's benchmark FTSE 100 index up 0.72 percent at 6,072.49 points. Elsewhere, Frankfurt's DAX 30 won 0.63 percent to 7,741.13 points and in Paris the CAC 40 rallied 1.30 percent to 3,642.35 compared with Monday's closing levels. European equities had slumped on Monday, hit by concern over the emergence of a liquidity crisis in China and the looming withdrawal of US Federal Reserve stimulus, dealers said.
