Egyptian Stock Exchange gains EGP 8.4bn in week

The Egyptian Stock Exchange (EGX) indices were collectively up at the end of week as the market capital gains EGP 8.4 billion to reach EGP 523.2 billion.
The EGX 30 main benchmark index rose 0.68 percent to close at 9,576 points, read a report by the EGX.
The broader EGX 70 index of the leading smaller and mid cap enterprises (SME) downed 1.8 percent, reaching 556 points.
The all-embracing EGX 100 index also downed 1 percent to close at 1,120 points.
