Egyptian Exchange gains EGP 1.5bn

The Egyptian Exchange (EGX) gained about 1.5 billion pounds at the end of Tuesday's trading on the back of purchase operations by investment funds.
The EGX 30 benchmark index leapfrogged by 0.68 percent to close at 8,083.18 points.
The broader EGX 70 index of the leading smaller and mid cap enterprises (SME) increased by 0.22 percent to close at 452.44 points.
The all-embracing EGX 100 index upped by 0.43 percent to reach 940.23 points.
