Egyptian bourse indices rise

Indices of Egyptian Bourse moved upward in the past week trades, where the EGX30 increased 0.02 percent closing at 6,811 points. EGX70 index for small and medium stocks rose 1.93 percent, closing at 549 points, according to the bourse weekly report released on Friday. EGX100 climbed 1.51 percent closing at 932 points and EGX20 increased 0.04 percent to settle at 7,931 points. Market capital rose three billion pounds to reach 429 billion pounds in the weekend. The Egyptian pound is currently traded at approximately USD 0.15. The report added that trade value of the past week amounted to approximately 2.4 billion pounds.
