Egypt's bourse gains EGP 200m at beginning of trading session

The Egyptian Exchange made gains at the beginning of the trading session on Monday backed by investor share purchases. The market capital achieved gains worth EGP 200 million to reach EGP 403.6 billion. The EGX 30 benchmark index rose 0.15 percent to close at 6,196.22 points. The broader EGX 70 index of the leading smaller and mid cap enterprises (SME) inched up by 0.49 percent to 523.9 points. The all-embracing EGX 100 index also increased by 0.03 percent to close at 874.92 points.
