Egypt issues new $1.5bn bonds

Finance Minister Hani Qadri on Thursday said that Egypt issued a USD 1.5 billion 10-year bonds.
In press statements, Qadri said that the move, the first in five years, is a strong return for Egypt to the global markets.
He added that it was a key step in the government's efforts to provide sources of financing for the Egyptian economy.
