Egypt bourse gains $25bn in January

The Egyptian Exchange (EGX) gained 25.1 billion dollars pounds in January, gaining about EGP 451.9 billion dollars compared to 426 billion dollars of December. The EGX 30 benchmark index went up by 9.18 percent to close at 7,405 points. The broader EGX 70 index of the leading smaller and mid cap enterprises (SME) rose by 9.18 percent to 7,405 points. The all-embracing EGX 100 index was up 7.48 percent to close at 992 points
