EGX gains EGP1.5bn, indexes show mixed performance

The Egyptian Exchange (EGX) gained 1.5 billion pounds at the end of the week's trading as its capital hits EGP 510.8 billion with 0.3 percent increase.
The EGX 30 benchmark index went up 0.01 percent to close at 8,893 points.
The broader EGX 70 index of the leading smaller and mid cap enterprises (SME) downed by 1.87 percent to 496 points.
The all-embracing EGX 100 index also dropped 1.34 percent to reach 1,012 points.
