92.5% increase in Egyptian cotton stock

The actual stock of cotton has increased 92.5 percent to hit 858,900 metric quintals at the end of the current season versus 446, 200 metric quintals in the past season, according to the Central Agency for Public Mobilization and Statistics.
The stock increase is due to a drop in exports of the Egyptian cotton during the last season, the agency said in a statement on Thursday.
