Egyptian bourse indices rise

Indices of Egyptian Bourse collectively moved upward in the past week trades, where the EGX30 increased 2.42 percent closing at 7,144 points. EGX70 index for small and medium stocks rose 1.21 percent, closing at 564 points, according to the bourse weekly report released on Friday. EGX100 climbed 1.23 percent closing at 959 points and EGX20 increased 2.86 percent to settle at 8,396 points. Market capital rose 8.7 billion pounds to reach 443 billion pounds in the weekend. The report added that the past week trade value amounted to approximately 1. 3 billion pounds. The Egyptian pound is currently traded at approximately USD 0.15.
