Ssangyong Motor sales down 7.8% in June

Ssangyong Motor Co. said Tuesday its sales in June fell 7.8 percent on-year, mainly due to sluggish demand for some of its SUV models and fewer cars being shipped, including to Russia.
The carmaker's total sales hit 11,852 units last month compared with 12,858 vehicles sold a year earlier. Ssangyong's total includes complete knockdown kits that can be put together in foreign assembly lines.
