Ssangyong Motor sales down 5.6% in July

Ssangyong Motor Co. said Friday its sales in July fell 5.6 percent on-year, mainly due to unfavorable exchange rates that hurt demand for its vehicles in overseas markets.
The carmaker's total sales hit 11,828 units last month, compared with 12,536 vehicles sold a year earlier. Ssangyong's total includes complete knockdown kits that can be put together on foreign assembly lines.
