
The Sharjah Investment and Development Authority, or Shurooq, is all set to participate in the Arabian Travel Market, or ATM 2013, from May 6-9 at the Dubai International Exhibition and Convention Centre. During its participation under the umbrella of Sharjah Commerce and Tourism Development Authority, Shurooq will be showcasing its various world-class projects, including the leisure destinations of Al Qasba and the Al Majaz Waterfront, City Sightseeing Sharjah tour buses, and the ground-breaking heritage project, the Heart of Sharjah, among many other projects currently being developed. Marwan bin Jassim Al Sarkal, chief executive officer of Shurooq, announced that Shurooq will be unveiling a new tourism project to be developed in an island within Sharjah, during a Press conference to be held on May 7 on the sidelines of ATM 2013. Al Sarkal also emphasised that the new project will generate a large scale of international interest. From Khaleej Times
