
Head of the General Authority for Investment and Free Zones (GAFI) Dr Hassan Fahmy said the Korean Samsung Electronics Company is seeking to pump new investments worth dlrs 35 million in its factory in Kom Abu Radhi in Beni Suef governorate.
Speaking on the fringe of the Egyptian-Korean Forum meetings, Fahmy said the company's investments in its first phase of the factory construction hit dlrs 40 million, noting that the total investment of the firm will reach up to dlrs 260 million.
GAFI chief praised the company's responsibility towards the residents as it has decided to establish several schools to meet the needs of the families in the province.
