Renault Samsung sales surge 86.5% in April

Renault Samsung Motors Co., the local unit of French automaker Renault S.A., said Monday that its April sales surged 86.5 percent, boosted by its record-high overseas shipments.
Renault Samsung said in a press release that it sold a total of 23,393 units last month, up from the 12,542 units tallied in the previous year
The spike in sales was attributed largely to its strong overseas sales that soared 156.3 percent on-year to a record-high 16,375 units last month.
