Pfizer, Allergan to merge in $160bn operation

Pfizer and Allergan said they will merge in a transaction worth around $160 billion (151 billion euros) to create the world's biggest pharmaceutical group.
The merger between Pfizer, which makes Viagra and is based in the United States, and Botox maker Allergan, based in Ireland, is to be finalised in the second half of 2016, they said.
