Orascom to set up power station in Iraq

Iraqi Ministry of Electricity has signed a contract with Egypt's Orascom Construction Industries to build a gas station with a total capacity of 960 MW, at a cost of $ 363 million. The ministry said in a press statement that "Orascom under the contract will set up six units with 160 MW for each unit. The statement added that these units were purchased from the German Siemens Company under a contract concluded at the end of 2008. noting the implementation of this contract will take 21 months, the statement added.
