
Dubai-based developer Nakheel has started leasing at The Pointe, a retail, dining and entertainment complex on the Palm Jumeirah, according to a statement on Wednesday. The Pointe has 130 spaces available for shops, restaurants and cafes, the company stated. Covering an area of 136,000 square metres, the Dh800 million development is expected to be completed in 2016. Nakheel recently signed a Dh375 million contract with Gulf Technical Construction Company to build The Pointe, located at the tip of Palm Jumeirah. Nakheel's other upcoming developments include Nakheel Mall, The Palm Tower, The Boardwalk and Palm West Beach.
