KT chief offers to resign amid prosecution probe

The embattled head of telecom giant KT Corp. conveyed his intention to resign Sunday amid an ongoing prosecution investigation into corruption allegations against him. "I made the decision, as I could not see employees suffer," Lee Suk-chae said in a company-wide email.
