Korean export companies create more jobs

Companies that export products abroad create more jobs than firms that rely on South Korea's domestic market for growth, a report by a local association showed Sunday.
According to a survey of 6,573 businesses by the Korea International Trade Association (KITA) that analyized the hiring practices of companies from 2006 to 2012, export firms reported a 33.3 percent increase in the number of people they hired, while the figures for those making products for the home market marked an 8.7 percent increase in the number of people on their payroll.
