
INJAZ Bahrain recently held its annual board companies' coordinators meeting at the ART Rotana Amwaj Island to brief its key business partners on its business plans for the spring semester 2014/15.
The meeting, which was hosted by Al Salam Bank at the ART Rotana Amwaj Island, also sought to boost the company coordinators' support to INJAZ Bahrain’s programmes and promote them within their respective organisations, and help provide qualified volunteers.
The meeting was attended by Badria Naqi, Deputy Executive Director of INJAZ Bahrain. Naqi thanked the coordinators for their support of the organisation, particularly in the area of providing volunteers.
"We are immensely grateful to the efforts of our partners in the advancement of INJAZ Bahrain’s mission, which is to empower youth to own their economic success. We look forward to work together to create more opportunities for youth to tap their potentials and develop the skills necessary to make better career choices and live more promising future," Naqi said.
She also expressed her sincere gratitude to Al Salam Bank for hosting the meeting and for being a strong supporter of the organisation since its inception.
The briefing, which was presented by INJAZ Bahrain’s staff, focused on the students’ target reach of 20,000 students for 2014/2015 and the 725 volunteers required for the delivery of INJAZ Bahrain’s 15 programmes in all secondary, intermediate, primary schools, universities and private schools.
The attendees put forth a number of recommendations and suggestions for the enhancement of all parties’ participation and the programme delivery.
