Imported cars eat deeper into domestic automakers' sales

South Korean automakers' domestic sales have been hit hard by the rising popularity of foreign cars in almost all segments, data showed Sunday. Combined sales of the five automakers -- Hyundai Motor, Kia Motors, GM Korea, Renault Samsung and Ssangyong -- reached 1,007,289 units in the first nine months of this year, down 0.7 percent on-year from 1,014,026, according to the data
