Hyundai sales in India hit record high

South Korea's largest carmaker Hyundai Motor Co. saw its sales in India reach a record monthly high in September on the back of its diversified models that satisfied customers' needs there, industry sources said Thursday. Hyundai sold 35,955 units in the South Asian country last month, according to the sources. Hyundai Motor's strong sales in India were attributed to the growing popularity of its small cars, including the i10, the i20 and the Verna.
