Hyundai Motor Group car sales in China, India up 7.9% in August

Hyundai Motor Group, the world's fifth-largest automotive conglomerate, said Monday that its sales in China and India rose 7.9 percent on-year in August.
The conglomerate said combined sales by its flagship companies Hyundai Motor Co. and Kia Motors Corp. in the two countries stood at 164,747 units last month, up from 152,664 a year earlier.
