
Gulf Petrochemicals Industries Company (GPIC) President Abdulrahman Jawahery received Bahrain Journalists Association (BJA) board members led by chairman Mo'anes Al-Murdi on January 15 and conveyed to them greetings from Premier's Advisor for industrial and oil affairs and GPIC Chairman Shaikh Isa bin Ali Al-Khalifa. He also presented the delegation with a GPIC donation in support of the BJA-led efforts to promote journalists' professional development and brush up their skills through training programmes, courses and workshops. Mr. Jawahery hailed the press freedom under the reform and democratic project initiated by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al-Khalifa. He commended the crucial role of the press in enhancing social awareness, instilling human culture and knowledge. Mr. Al-Murdi extended thanks and appreciation to Premier's Advisor for industrial and oil affairs and GPIC Chairman Shaikh Isa bin Ali Al-Khalifa for his initiative in support of BJA.
