Dubai Trade’s training programs
Dubai - Arab Today

Dubai Trade, a single window for cross-border trade and a DP World company, recently celebrated the graduation of more than 270 professionals in its certified training programs.
The Certified Trade and Logistics Professional (CTLP) program, available in English and Arabic, is offered to professionals working in different sectors in the trade and supply chain such as import, export and logistics.
Mahmood Al-Bastaki, CEO of Dubai Trade and Chaminda Gunasekera FCILT, UAE board member of the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport (CILT), joined the graduates and their families at the ceremony.
Gunasekera said: “Dubai Trade is a leader for the development of professional practices and qualifying graduates working in the trade and logistics sector.”
He said: “The overwhelming response to its programs is a proof of its reputation for excellence and we believe that the Dubai Trade programs add tremendous value to the development of future careers.”
Mahmood Al-Bastaki said: “Since we launched Dubai Trade, our priority has been to enable companies to adopt online services which facilitate import and export procedures. That means sharing knowledge and experience in the import and export sector with professionals in the businesses we deal with.”
Al-Bastaki said: “The positive response of this industry has been significant and the interest in our programs has grown to such an extent that they started to depend on CTLP to develop their professional qualifications.”
He added: “We have since launched our new training program — a “Certified Customs Expert (CCE)” qualification. It addresses the key elements and best procedures of customs processes and models in the region.”
Dubai Trade’s programs are provided every month at its training center, equipped with advanced facilities.
