In response to the ‘Thank You’ initiative launched by His Highness Shaikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, to dedicate the anniversary celebrations of the Accession Day to public service workers, the Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA) distributed food provisions to its support workers in appreciation of their efforts and dedicated work. DEWA’s initiative is a part of a series of activities aimed at honouring the support-workers through various events throughout the year. With the aim of raising job satisfaction, the initiative reflects DEWA’s commitment towards its staff. It is also in line with DEWA’s vision to become a sustainable world-class utility. A team from DEWA’s Human Resources Division will be dedicated to communicate with the workers and review their conditions regularly. DEWA continually adds new categories to its distinguished staff including support-workers to enhance their sense of belonging and honour their committed work through appreciation ceremonies.
