Chinese tech giant Huawei has signed a three-year sponsorship deal with Paris Saint-Germain, one of Europe's biggest football clubs, the French club announced Saturday. "We are delighted to have signed this partnership for the next three seasons with one of Europe's biggest football clubs," said Song Kai, general manager of Huawei France, on the club's website. "This strategic partnership will help develop the Huawei brand in France and in Europe and show consumers the latest uses and experiences available on our terminals." The value of the deal was not immediately known. "'Dream Bigger' and keep dreaming bigger is our number one ambition," added Paris Saint-Germain's general manager Jean-Claude Blanc. "Huawei are part of that dream as they open China's doors and by developing the latest technology for the future." Huawei, the world's third-biggest seller of smartphones, has been present in France for over a decade. The company also underlined its desire to link its growth with European football via partnerships with "some of the continent's biggest clubs".
