
Cairn India on Friday posted an 11 per cent decline in consolidated net profit at Rs.2,186.23 crore during the quarter ended March 31 against Rs.2,457.79 crore during the like period of the previous financial year. Total income for the quarter under review stood at Rs.3,743.61 crore compared to Rs.3,692.83 crore during the like period of 2010-11, the company said in a regulatory filing. The net profit of the group during the year ended March 31, however, rose 25.3 per cent at Rs.7,937.74 crore against Rs.6,334.4 crore during the previous financial year,
