
Boeing delivered 155 airplanes to China in 2014, hitting a record high, according to the company's branch in China. It is the successive second year for Boeing to deliver more than 140 airplanes to China.
Meanwhile, the company received orders for over 400 airplanes from more than ten Chinese customers. Among the 155 airplanes delivered in 2014, 119 units were of the new generation 737 model, 26 units were Boeing 777, and ten units were of other models.
Boeing forecasts China will need more than 6,000 new airplanes in the next 20 years, in which 4,340 units will be single aisle airplanes that can mainly satisfy the needs of developing low-cost airline business.
