On the occasion, Alba Labour Union Chairman, Ali bin Ali said: "Alba’s workers are known for their hard work, loyalty and in going the extra mile to do a good job. As members of the Alba Labour Union, we are proud to see how our workers have played a major role in making Alba such a successful company. Today, another batch of our workers are celebrating ten years of long service to the company, and yes, it is definitely a great achievement. I must add that it is also a strong proof of Alba being such an employee friendly company that provides benefits to its workers and incentives for training and growth opportunities. We are also proud that this Bahraini company is a global player and our workers are able to play a part in its growth.” Commenting on the Long Service Award ceremony, the company’s Chief Executive, Laurent Schmitt said: "Alba’s forty year journey has borne witness to many triumphs that have strengthened the company’s reputation has one of the world’s leading aluminium smelters. One of the key reasons for this success has been the support and loyalty of our workforce whose hard work alone has richly contributed to making Alba what it is today. This ceremony – marking ten years of long service of our employees – expresses our deep appreciation and gratitude for all the hard work and excellence in executing their professional commitments that have helped Alba in meeting its corporate goals.”
