Al-Futtaim Group invests EGP 18bn in Egypt

The Al-Futtaim Group announced it would inject new investments worth EGP 18 billion in Egypt.
The UAE company expressed its wish to increase its investment in Egypt to EGP 30 billion soon, saying its projects employed 8,100 direct workers and 27,000 indirect labors.
The remarks came at a meeting of Prime Minister Ibrahim Mahlab with representatives from the Al-Futtaim Group with presence of the minister of housing, Cairo governor and the head of Urban Planning Authority.
