Ford Motor Co. announced Thursday to recall about 13,100 2013 Explorer SUV, Taurus and Lincoln MKS vehicles on door latches problem. Detroit News quoted Ford as saying that the child safety locks may turn off automatically when opening or closing a door, thus allowing the doors to be opened from the inside. No accidents or injuries have been reported thus far. The affected vehicles, built at Ford's Chicago Assembly Plant between Nov. 29 and Dec. 12, 2012, were sold in the U.S., Canada and Mexico. This is not the first time for Ford to recall 2013 Explorer, Taurus and Lincoln MKS vehicles. The three model vehicles are also included in the 465,000 vehicles Ford recalled in May after 600 fuel leak complaints.
