Vehicles remained the most significant commodity within Slovak exports for 2014 with 25 percent of total exports, according to the analysis of the Slovak Economy Ministry published on Monday.

Vehicles were followed by electric machines and devices with a 21-percent share of total exports, with televisions being the largest subgroup.

"In the 2011-14 period the share of total exports made up by cars and electric machines and devices was consistently increasing," noted the ministry.

Other significant export commodities for 2014 were nuclear reactors, boilers and devices (12.3 percent), fossil fuels and mineral oils (4.7 percent) or iron and steel, especially flat-rolled iron products (4.7 percent).
