
US Ambassador to Pakistan Richard Olson has informed Finance Minister of Pakistan Ishaq Dar that USD 352 million would be reimbursed to Pakistan on February 6 h under the Coalition Support Fund (CSF), it was officially reported. The envoy told the Minister during the meeting in capital city Islamabad that US Secretary of Defense had already signed the payment authorization and Congress had notified it. Olson added that the Economic Working Group of the two countries would be meeting in April in Washington. Both officials discussed various points relating to the Strategic Dialogue scheduled to be held in Washington next week. The Pakistani Minister informed the Ambassador that had achieved the six-month economic targets that ended in December. US has approved CSF as Pakistan has been an ally to US in war against terrorism.
