UN, Qatar tackle rebuilding efforts in Darfur

The AU-UN Special Representative for Darfur and Head of UNAMID and Joint Chief Mediator, Abiodun Oluremi Bashua, and Qatari Deputy Premier and Minister of State for Cabinet Affairs Ahmad Al-Mahmoud discussed Tuesday the rebuilding of projects in Darfur.
According to Qatar news agency (QNA), the two sides also tackled Darfur peace process in light of the ongoing efforts being made to encourage non-signatory movements to join the Doha Document for Peace in Darfur (DDPD).
The meeting was attended by resident Representative of the UN Development Program (UNDP) to Sudan Ambassador Ali Al-Zaatari.
