Turkish companies to export milk products to EU

Turkey's Minister of Food, Agriculture and Livestock, Mehdi Eker said on Monday that Turkish companies would be able to export milk and milk products to EU as of April 3. Speaking at a meeting, Eker said that EU standards on milk and milk products were met, and the regulation would formally come into force on Wednesday. Eker said that following a 7-year-long process, they would be able to export milk and milk products to EU. He said this would lead to the improvement in Turkey's milk industry.
