
Egypt's Finance Minister Hani Qadri, Investment Minister Ashraf Salman and British Middle East Minister Tobias Ellwood discussed Wednesday preparations for Sharm el-Sheikh economic conference.
The meeting tackled latest economic developments in Egypt and the preparations for the Sharm el-Sheikh conference, due to be held on March 13-15, and aimed at shoring up the Egyptian economy.
Ellwood stressed his country's keenness on taking part in the conference with a senior-level delegation, despite the difficulty of traveling of senior British officials abroad because of preparations of British general elections in May.
The two Egyptian ministers highlighted the importance of holding a conference in UK to follow up the results of Sharm el-Sheikh conference after the parliamentary elections.
The British minister asserted that his country was ready to offer all needed economic support to Egypt.
