Revenues of Egypt’s Suez Canal reached $3.4 billion in the first eight months of 2016.
The navigational statistics of Suez Canal said on Tuesday that as many as 11,207 ships transited the Suez Canal in the relevant period at a total cargo of 649.300 million tons with a decrease in the canal's revenues at 74 million dollars and an increase in its revenues in Egyptian pounds compared to the same period of 2015.
