
The Minister of Oil Engineer Makkawi Mohamed Awad has affirmed importance of enhancing economic and technical cooperation between Sudan and Ghana.
He briefed the Deputy Foreign of Ghana Tomas Kewirti, when he met him at his office Wednesday, on the climate of work in oil sector in the country, reviewing the technical capabilities, infrastructure and opportunities of investment in oil exploration and oil services. The meeting touched on aspects of technical cooperation in the oil sector between the two countries.
The Deputy Foreign Minister in Ghana, for his part, asserted that the meeting discussed the opportunities available in Sudan including technical skills, training chances and exchange of expertise.
It is worth mentioning that Kewirti arrived in Khartoum Monday to participate in the meetings of the Joint Ministerial Committee between the two countries, which concluded sessions Wednesday with signing of a couple of agreements in various domains.
