
South Sinai Governor Khaled Fouda signed a memorandum of understanding with Minsk Oblast Governor Semyon Shapiro, said Belarusian Ambassador to Egypt Sergei Rachkov.
The MoU was signed during Fouda's visit to Belarus, which was the first visit paid by an Egyptian governor to Belarus, added the ambassador.
In exclusive statements to MENA, the ambassador also said that both sides discussed ways of boosting cooperation between the two governorates in the spheres of economy, trade, industry, agriculture, tourism and culture.
The Minsk governor said that he will help the South Sinai governorate to increase flow of Belarusian tourists to Sharm el Sheikh, said the ambassador.
