South Korea to introduce investment accounts with tax incentives in 2016

South Korea's financial regulator said Monday that it plans to introduce special investment savings accounts for individuals in 2016 that offer tax incentives, the latest move aimed at helping meet growing welfare costs and funneling more money into the capital market.
According to the Financial Services Commission, the Individual Savings Accounts (ISA) will be introduced by 2016 after existing financial products with tax benefits and related tax codes are revamped.
