Saudi farmers to meet international experts to combat red palm weevils

The Ministry of Agriculture in collaboration with Food and Agriculture Organization of United Nations, will organize here tomorrow a meeting with palm farmers in Qassim on integrated combating of red palm weevils.
The Ministry's Undersecretary for Agriculture Affairs and National Coordinator of the Program of Food and Agriculture Organization of United Nations in the Kingdom, Dr. Khalid bin Mohammed Al-Fuhaid pointed out that the meeting represents an opportunity for the exchange of opinions between farmers and specialists from inside and outside the Kingdom aiming at strengthening the efforts of combating the weevils.
