
The export portfolio of Russian state arms exporter Rosoboronexport’s to Africa has grown to more than $21 billion, the head of the company’s delegation at the Africa Aerospace and Defense 2016 expo in South Africa was quoted by Sputnik news agency as saying Tuesday.
"We continue to build active cooperation with most countries of the continent in both North Africa and with the sub-Saharan countries. The portfolio of orders for Russian military products attributable to countries in Africa now exceeds $21 billion," Yuri Demchenko said in a statement published by the company.
Rosoboronexport is responsible for over 85 percent of Russian arms and military technology export.
