Qatar, Latvia sign avoidance of double taxation convention

HE Minister of Economy and Commerce Sheikh Ahmed bin Jassim bin Mohammed Al-Thani, on behalf of the government of the State of Qatar, with Foreign Minister of Latvia Edgar Rinkevich, on behalf of his government, on Saturday signed the convention for the avoidance of double taxation and the prevention of fiscal evasion with respect to taxes on income.
    The agreement was signed on the sidelines of 69th session of the General Assembly of the United Nations in New York.
    HE the Minister of Economy and Trade's signing of this agreement aimed at strengthening and enhancing economic, trade and investment relations between the State of Qatar and the Republic of Latvia.
