Qatar, Gambia sign cooperative deals

Qatar and Gambia have signed several cooperative agreements in the fields of double-taxation avoidance, income tax and air service.
The signing ceremony was attended by Qatari Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani and visiting Gambian President Yahya Jammeh, the Qatar News Agency (QNA) reported.
Both leaders have also held talks on ways and means of promoting and developing bilateral cooperative relations between Qatar and Gambia in various domains, it added.
The Gambian president arrived here earlier on Monday for a two-day official visit to Qatar, targeting closer relations between both friendly nations.
