Panamanian ships top Suez Canal client list in January

The Panamanian ships were on the top of the list of vessels transiting the Suez Canal in January 2016.
Some 201 Panamanian ships passed through the international waterway in January carrying about 12.421 million tons, according to official Canal Authority statistics.
Liberian ships came next with 184 ships carrying 9.442 million tons , followed by Marshall Islands-flagged ships with 170 ships carrying 10.018 million tons.
