Egyptian Prime Minister Ibrahim Mahlab said his current visit to Paris is meant to encourage French investments at home in view of improving security and economic conditions.
In statements to Jeune Afrique magazine, he said Egypt Economic Development Conference (EEDC) - held recently in Sharm - has sent the message that Egypt is on the beam.
Expounding Egypt's future projects, he added that security conditions in Egypt are getting better.
Terror is not confined to Egypt, it is a challenge to the Arab and international communities, he said.
He noted that combating terror needs a comprehensive economic and social strategy alongside the security one.
Meanwhile, the premier said Egypt is working on enhancing relations with African states, noting that the cabinet has opened a special department for African affairs to serve this end.
