
Deputy Premier and Minister of Commerce and Industry Dr. Abdulmohsen Al-Madaj on Tuesday highlighted the importance of Kuwait partaking in the 9th ministerial conference for World Trade Organization and Arab countries.
Al-Madaj made his remarks to KUNA regarding Kuwait's participation in the two-day conference, shortly after arrival.
The minister added that the conference will delve into the status of World Trade agreements with the Gulf countries, including exchange of views on mutual topics.
Al-Madaj thanked the Qatari leadership and people for hosting this conference and their keenness on pushing forward trade relations among Arab countries and the world.
The conference will also attempt to reach a partial agreement on a number of issues related to development in the World Trade Organization.
In addition to a number of Arab and trade ministers, the conference will host number experts on world trade agreements.
